Black Creek Arts Council - Happy Little Fun Run

The Happy Little Fun Run is an in-person 5k run/walk for all ages that will take place on September 23, 2023.

5K and Family Fun Run. Wheelchairs, strollers, and dogs are welcome!

Proceeds from the Happy Little Fun Run: support art education in Darlington County!

COME for the RUN and stay for the after party!!! The after-party will feature live music
and local vendors, all at Burry Park!

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

The in-person event takes place Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 5:00 PM
Want to take your registration 1 step further...choose the BOB ROSS option at check out, and your registration will include a Bob Ross wig.

All participants - must register online by September 1 to guarantee the requested shirt size. Registration for the Happy Little Fun Run is $45. Race packets will be picked up at Black Creek Art Center on September 22.

This event is about being HAPPY and having FUN! So, dress up if you like, paint some happy little trees, put on your running shoes, and hit the pavement! You can run anytime throughout September or join us for the in-person event on September 23. Follow our route map through downtown Hartsville and stop at all the selfie stations for a break and a photo op. Send images of your selfies, creative running attire, and bib to bcacevents@gmail.com to be eligible for prizes. Prizes are awarded at the end of September.

Important Information:

Race Start Time: 5:00 PM
In-Person Packet Pickup: Race Packet Pick-Up will be Friday, September 22, from 1-7 PM at Black Creek Arts Council, 116 W. College Ave, Hartsville, SC (enter through the glass doors on College Ave side)
Photo Op Prizes: Follow our route map through downtown Hartsville and stop at all selfie stations for a break and a photo op or create your 5k route. Send images of your selfies, creative running attire, and bib to bcacevents@gmail.com to be eligible for prizes. Prizes are awarded at the end of September.
T-Shirts are guaranteed to all participants who register by September 1. (shirts are only guaranteed to those who register by September 1). Shirt Sizes: Adult S, M, L, XL, 2XL
Not a runner or walker, you may purchase a shirt and cheer on the participants at the finish line.

5K Awards: (Overall Awards are based on Gun Time)
Top Overall - (1) Male & (1) Female Finishers
Top - (1) Male & (1) Female in each Age Group
